This isn’t about the perfect pose, this is about real smiles and belly laughter. This is about you and your family and the little hands you never want to forget. It's about grandma helping you get ready for your wedding and your parents looking at you with love as you promise yourself to another. My style is candid, relaxed, and real. I do sprinkle in a few posed photos, but I truly believe in documenting what is already happening.
My Approach
01.
Booking
Fill the contact form with all your information. I will get back to you and if I are available, I will pencil you in. I may send you additional questions to learn more about your vision and then we will pick a location.
You will then get a proposal with a contract and invoice and pay that according to the agreement.
02.
Communication
I will communicate via email or text (whatever is convenient for you) about your shoot. I can give you tips on outfits and locations. This is a great time to talk about your vision and any specific poses or vibes you like.
For weddings, we will either Facetime or meet up to get to know each other better and so I can learn your vision for your day.
03.
Picture time
I will arrive early to scout out some good spots and then wait for your arrival. We will start off with a few smiling shots then move into easy prompts that capture laughter and joy. I try not to pose as much as possible and work more to build off prompts and capture you interacting with your family or loved ones.
04.
Delivering photos
Within 2 weeks you will receive a sneak peek. The remainder of your gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your session. Your photos are delivered in an online gallery that I keep live for up to a year.
Wedding photos are delivered within 6 weeks of the wedding.

FAQ
This is my first shoot, what should I expect?
Come ready to have fun and move around a lot. I will give you some prompts to get some movement, but feel free to run with it as well. The best photos come from fun actions and laughs. I will always get some nice "mantle photos" but I also want to make sure that we get photos that feel more you.
What should I wear?
Neutrals and earth tones are often your best bet. Black is also fine to throw in there and pops of color here and there. The main thing is that you are comfortable. If you book a session with us, I will send you my outfit guide that is more specific for locations and seasons.
What is the benefit of having a second photographer for weddings?
Simply put, more coverage and more photos. When I have a second photographer with me, there are more shots of guests and details and all the formal photos take way less time.
How many pictures will we receive?
I don't have a set amount of photos we deliver. Generally it is about 100 photos an hour with one of us and around 150 and hour with two photographers.
Are you willing to travel for shoots or do weddings outside of Oregon?
Yes!! I can travel, but I do charge mileage after 30 miles from the Salem area. I would love to travel to your wedding as well, contact me to check about my wedding travel rates.
What form of payments do you accept?
I accept only card payments through the online invoices as of now.
